I never imagined I would need to move into an Assisted Living Facility at 44 years old BUT I did! I learned a great deal and am thankful for the experience.  If you are looking into an Assisted Living Facility, make sure  you consider its size, the activity level of residents, activities offered, room location, and visitation policy.

At the very least, living with a disability is challenging. Perception is everything and how one views one's self will effect how one will move through out life. This is a little bit of how I've come to view myself.
